Basics of grooved technology discussed in Climate Control Middle East

The August 2010 issue of Climate Control Middle East (CCME) featured a three-page contributed article by Rami Mahmoud, Victaulic regional manager, discussing the properties of grooved mechanical couplings. Pull quotes state “the AGS design results in a 40% increase in end-load carrying capabilities compared to previous joining methods”, and the article carries numerous images of Victaulic couplings and systems. CCME is published in Dubai and has a circulation of 10,923. Some 29% of its circulation is in UAE, 28% in Saudi Arabia and a further 33% is in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman combined. It is read by HVAC decision makers and its readership is 19% contractors, consulting engineers and designers, 16% property developers and facilities managers, 15% HVAC professionals and 15% end-users.
